AIIMS Delhi in shutdown mode till 2:30 pm on Ram mandir event day

As the nation prepares for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha on January 22, four Central Government-run hospitals, including AIIMS Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, Ram Manohar Lohia, and Lady Hardinge, have decided to remain closed until 2.30 pm. This decision has sparked criticism from the opposition, accusing the government of endangering patients' lives. While the hospitals assure that emergency services will continue, opposition leaders, including Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and TMC MP Saket Gokhale, have expressed concerns over the potential inconvenience to patients.
